Jean’s Waterproofing, Inc. (JWI) received a call from Silverstein Properties regarding Silver Towers on 42nd Street in Manhattan. They had multiple areas leaking in the basement and around the foundations. After talking with many of the building officials and doing several walk-throughs JWI was awarded the project.The Silver Towers project is a multi-faceted project. Not only does it include your basic wall and floor grouting, but it also includes several highly difficult areas where injection grouting is necessary. To date JWI has grouted over 175 conduits along with a segregated diesel tank room, that at some points prior to our arrival, had 4-6 inches of water in it.JWI’s perseverance and great communication is the reason why we continue to get calls from companies like Silverstein properties.
